Job Title: Incident Liaison Officer

BEAR Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Incident Liaison Officer to join our team. As an Incident Liaison Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective response to incidents across our Trunk Road network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monitoring the impact of incidents on journey times for road users.
  • Assist with the management of severe weather incidents and winter maintenance.
  • Liaise with the emergency services and trunk road incident support units.
  • Deploy emergency and winter maintenance crews.
  • Monitor road conditions and weather reports.
  • Update databases and associated record keeping.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • General IT skills.
  • Experience in having successfully fulfilled a role of a similar nature such as an Emergency/Roads Authority or Utility Control Room environment would be desirable.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
