Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Product Cataloguer to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive component cataloguing and parts classification services to our clients in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain product information in various cataloguing systems.
  • Conduct detailed technical analysis of automotive components to ensure accurate and comprehensive cataloguing.
  • Classify automotive parts according to established industry standards and internal guidelines.
  • Perform quality checks on catalogued data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure consistent and accurate product data.
  • Utilise and navigate cataloguing systems such as XChecker, Elcome, TecDoc, partsLink24, and Autocat efficiently.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and manuals related to catalogued products.
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding product information and cataloguing queries.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical cataloguing or similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience with cataloguing systems such as XChecker, Elcome, TecDoc, partsLink24, and Autocat.
  • Strong understanding of automotive components and their functions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
