Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Educational Support Professional to join our team at Bankside School, part of the Outcomes First Group. Our new specialist school will cater for students aged 11-18 years old with Autism, Complex needs and learning disabilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist in creating supportive and nurturing environments where pupils can thrive academically and personally. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with Autism and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of educational programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each pupil.
  • Support pupils in their academic and personal development, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure seamless integration of support services and achieve optimal pupil outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote a culture of mutual respect and understanding.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience working with children with Autism and complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, prioritizing individual and collective goals.
