Employment Adviser Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as an Employment Adviser. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting unemployed job seekers in finding and sustaining employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with job seekers to identify challenges and barriers to employment
  • Book job seekers onto relevant training courses, including customer service, security, hospitality, and personal development
  • Support job seekers with CV writing and job application processes
  • Liaise with employers to identify employment opportunities for job seekers
  • Conduct outreach work to promote Reed in Partnership within the local community

Requirements:

  • Experience of coaching/mentoring and persuasion/influencing skills
  • Customer-facing experience in a role such as customer services, hospitality, or social care
  • Experience of working in a performance target-driven environment
  • Ability to travel locally to meet customers/employers
  • Minimum of 2 A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 Diploma
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B or equivalent Level 2 qualification
