About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team at Care UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our care homes.

Your primary focus will be on leading and managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas of the home are clean and well-maintained. You will also be responsible for supervising the laundry of residents' clothing and ensuring that it meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Supervise the laundry of residents' clothing and ensure it meets the highest standards
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and rotas to ensure all areas of the home are clean and well-maintained
  • Collaborate with other members of the facilities management team to ensure a seamless service
  • Attend resident and relative meetings to ensure that residents' needs are being met
