Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs in a specialist school setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Physical Disabilities.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons to students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to identify and implement strategies to support students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and other support staff.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices in supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
