Nanny and Governess Job Description

Marcilly Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nanny and Governess for a lovely UHNW family in London. The successful candidate must be warm, fun, kind, and energetic with a sunny disposition and calm demeanor.

The Nanny and Governess role will be based in the family's home, looking after their two children. The family also has two trained medium-sized dogs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Looking after the children's needs, welfare, development, and health and safety
  • Preparing food and snacks for the children
  • Collecting the children from school
  • Diary management of their calendars
  • Organising arts and crafts, alternative activities, and play
  • Ensuring the playroom and bedrooms are kept neat and tidy
  • Travel during school holidays
  • Coordinating with the live-in Nanny
  • Shopping for the children's needs
  • Working closely with the mother on social and academic development for the children

Requirements:

  • A minimum of four years' solid Nannying experience
  • A desire to stay in the role long-term
  • Solid experience supporting the same family for at least two to three years
  • Experience working in a well-staffed, UHNW household
  • Three A-levels are a minimum requirement
