About the Role

We are seeking a commercially-minded Senior Product Manager to join our IT team at Biffa, driving digital transformation and ensuring our products and services use the best and most cutting-edge technology to drive competitive advantage for our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business divisions to take ideas through to product implementation, driving roadmaps for business demand and building trusted advisor relationships with MDs/leadership.
  • Translate customer needs to delivery teams, prioritizing needs and defining business benefit/value.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and third-party providers to create strategic product delivery roadmaps and oversee implementation.
  • Facilitate discussions, user story development, and refinement, contributing to roadblock resolution and decision making.
  • Create strong business cases aligned to overall strategy and present to executive teams for approval.
  • Develop effective 'Go to Market' strategies for successful adoption of new product offerings.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators to facilitate product decision making.
  • Perform analysis for build/buy/partner decisions and product demonstrations/technical presentations.
  • Understand technology trends and practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new business and operating models.
  • Assist with designing governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance.

Our Requirements

  • 5 years' Product Management experience in Agile/SCRUM environment.
  • 3 years' experience building business cases, owning product strategy, and product performance on complex products.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles, with ability to conduct financial analysis.
  • Experience managing product managers, business analysts, UI/UX analysts, or technical product owners.
  • Understanding of system development life cycle methodologies.
  • Experience embedding agile ceremonies and ways of working across distinct teams.
