Job Title: Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Community - Reading

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm (flexible)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our Adult Community based service in Berkshire. The successful candidate will assist our team in carrying out clinical assessments and therapy in locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out clinical assessments and triage with patients in various locations across Berkshire.
  • Hold an independent clinical caseload and provide therapy services to patients.
  • Be competent in preparing and using electronic information systems.
  • Have up-to-date IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Have knowledge and/or experience of using RIO patient-held record systems.
  • Have a car for community work.
  • Have dysphagia postgraduate training and at least 2 years of postgraduate experience working with dysphagia.
Requirements:
  • Competent and confident in preparing and using electronic information systems.
  • Up-to-date IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of using RIO patient-held record systems.
  • Car for community work.
  • Dysphagia postgraduate training and at least 2 years of postgraduate experience working with dysphagia.
