About Us

Targeted Provision is a child-centred company committed to transforming the world of support for vulnerable young people. We believe in raising the standard of educational support offered to young people with SEN/SEND and other needs.

About the Role
  • Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
  • Work with young people who require some level of support in their educational and social-emotional journey.
  • Provide flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to support the young person's educational and social-emotional journey.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective sessions that meet the young person's needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey.
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the young person's progress.
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS).
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs.
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed).
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK.
