Job Title: Payroll & Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are seeking a skilled Payroll & Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Paul Mitchell Associates. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for processing payroll for employees accurately and timely, maintaining and updating payroll records, handling purchase invoices and reconciling with purchase orders, preparing and processing payment runs, and dealing with payroll and purchase ledger queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for employees accurately and timely
  • Maintain and update payroll records
  • Handle purchase invoices and reconcile with purchase orders
  • Prepare and process payment runs
  • Deal with payroll and purchase ledger queries
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in payroll and purchase ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • SAGE experience (desirable)
  • Good understanding of payroll legislation and processes
What We Offer:
  • Part-time hours, approx 30 hours per week
  • Office-based role with potential for hybrid working
  • 30 days holiday including statutory holidays
  • Up to £15.00 per hour
