Job Title: Senior Transmission and Distribution Professional

Are you a seasoned electrical engineer with a passion for transmission and distribution projects? Do you have a strong network and business development acumen? We are seeking a Senior Transmission and Distribution Professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our growing business.

About the Role:

As a Senior Transmission and Distribution Professional, you will be responsible for leading and working within a team of high-performing project specialists across a range of multi-disciplinary projects and pursuits. You will provide leadership and support over a range of multi-disciplinary projects and pursuits, including:

  • Leading and managing development for transmission projects and packages
  • Fostering and evolving client relationships through successful project delivery
  • Mentoring, supervising, and coordinating junior to mid-level project managers
  • Participating in the team to pursue, develop, and deliver present and future transmission projects
  • Establishing project scope, time, and cost, and coaching others in managing competing demands with day-to-day work

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified electrical engineering degree with significant transmission, utilities, renewable power, or similar fields experience
  • A strong network and business development acumen
  • Experience in the technical delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, whether from a consulting, utilities, or contracting environment
  • Experience in EHV, HV, and LV electrical engineering from conceptual to detailed design in utilities, renewable power, traction power, water/wastewater, and other industries
  • Experience in testing, commissioning, FAT witnessing, equipment failure investigation
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to provide robust advice and support design projects through clear communication of project status, issues, and risks
