Job Title: Account HR Business Partner

Job Summary:

The Account HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in the HR team, overseeing junior team members and supporting senior management stakeholders with the full employee lifecycle, from employee relations to performance management.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver a high-quality HR service to their regions, working closely with their HR Business Partner counterpart to ensure consistency across regions.
  • Manage a varied caseload of HR work and projects, providing advice, guidance, and practical support across the full range of people activities, including job evaluation, retention, contracts, policy development, and employee relations cases.
  • Support line managers in continuous improvement of service delivery to end-users.
  • Line manage HR Advisers, providing coaching, development, and support to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Deliver upskilling and coaching of managers in people-related matters to ensure thoroughness, consistency, and fairness in the application of policy, procedure, and best practice.
  • Contribute to identifying and supporting employee retention initiatives.
  • Make data-driven decisions through thorough data analysis, providing relevant reports and solutions to line managers.

Requirements:

The successful HR Business Partner should have:

  • Level 7 CIPD qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience of line management of an HR team.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and dealing with varied employee relations casework.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • A not-for-profit or social care background would be beneficial.
  • Trade union experience would be beneficial.
