At ING, we empower people to stay a step ahead in life and in business. As a Corporate Banking Intern, you will contribute to our vision by supporting the Corporate Sector Coverage team in managing their client portfolio. This role will report to the Head of UK CSC and is ideal for an undergraduate degree holder with an understanding of corporate business.

The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and commit to a minimum of 6 months. As an intern, you will provide support to the team Head, Relationship Manager, and Assistant Relationship Managers in managing the bank's relationships with multinational corporate clients. You will also assist with various administrative projects and tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the team in ad-hoc regulatory, compliance, and policy projects
  • Assisting with the team's KYC requirements, liaising with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Maintaining data quality and tracking client relationship performance against plans
  • Supporting internal and external marketing activities
  • Preparing briefing packs ahead of client meetings
  • Assisting with research and screening for new client opportunities
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders across the international network on specific projects

To succeed in this role, you will need to be enthusiastic, organized, and have high attention to detail. You should be able to set priorities and work to deadlines in a dynamic environment. A self-starter with good relationship and collaborative skills is essential. Commercial and results-oriented, you will be curious, self-motivated, and have high work ethics.

As a Corporate Banking Intern at ING, you will gain an understanding of international wholesale banking markets, corporate clients, and banking products. You will also gain insights into how a global bank operates.
