Job Summary: The JRL Group is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to oversee the implementation of safe working practices and policies across its various divisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with expertise in risk assessment, policy development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safeguard employees and clients by conducting regular site inspections, identifying and mitigating hazards, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  2. Develop and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  3. Collaborate with management and employees to ensure a shared understanding of health and safety responsibilities and accountabilities.
  4. Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging health and safety trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the JRL Group remains compliant and proactive in its safety efforts.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar health and safety management role.
  2. NEBOSH qualification or other relevant health and safety certification.
  3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  4. Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a strong commitment to safety.
