We are seeking a highly experienced Finance lawyer with a strong background in Project Finance to join our team as a Senior Specialist Legal Editor. As a key member of our Practical Law Finance team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality content that reflects current law and practice.

As a Senior Specialist Legal Editor, you will work closely with our team of experienced colleagues to develop and maintain a wide range of Practical Law content. Your expertise in Finance law and transactions will be essential in providing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date content that meets the needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating well-written, up-to-date content for online publication that reflects current law and practice.
  • Commissioning, reviewing, and editing content written internally and externally.
  • Maintaining all content for which you are responsible to ensure it is up-to-date and continues to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Developing relationships with third parties to obtain contributions of content or improve content through third-party insights into law or practice.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also assist with developing and marketing the Practical Law Finance practice area.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Substantial post-qualification experience as a lawyer specialising in Finance law, particularly Project Finance.
  • A demonstrable interest and ability in writing with excellent attention to detail.
  • In-house experience in one or more financial institutions.
