About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in the development and support of online applications used to deliver positive change to animal-based production systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, maintain, and update web servers, network devices, and other hosting infrastructure components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related problems in a timely manner, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Monitor network performance and security, ensuring systems are operating efficiently and securely.
  • Collaborate with data team members to implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in managing cloud hosting environments.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
