Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Secure Environments

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Damia Group. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and securing multi-classification, virtualised, collaboration and development environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve secure infrastructure environments
  • Work with IT infrastructure colleagues to improve 'Secure by Design' capabilities
  • Provide infrastructure support for public cloud SaaS offerings and project-based systems
  • Perform maintenance tasks through change control
  • Assist with monitoring and management of ticketing and alerting systems
  • Triage monitoring alerts and perform appropriate action
  • Maintain monitoring components in line with infrastructure developments
  • Ensure all platforms are patched in line with provider recommendations and security policy
  • Quickly and accurately assess impact of incidents and initiate return to service
  • Identify trends and problems and plan changes to improve stability and performance
  • Maintain cutting-edge knowledge and skills in secure public, private, and hybrid cloud and network technologies
Requirements:
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Windows Server 2016+ administration
  • RedHat OpenShift
  • Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu)
  • EUD provisioning, maintenance, patching, and hardening
  • SSO concepts and operation
  • Understanding of working in protectively marked environments
  • VMware
  • Azure
  • Networking
  • Automation (scripting ansible/PowerShell)
Desirable Skills:
  • Kubernetes administration
  • VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF
  • Azure/Microsoft 365 administration
  • DevSecOps Tooling
  • Elastic
  • Nessus
  • Application Packaging
  • HashiCorp Terraform
  • HashiCorp Vault
  • Experience working in Agile sprints

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Hampshire, with a salary of £60,000-£70,000 per annum, plus bonus, pension, and private medical benefits.
