We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service, providing excellent customer service to students and staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, adhering to established menus and recipes.
- Maintain the cleanliness of front-of-house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Primarily be involved in wash-up during lunch service.
- Ideal experience working within education catering.
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused.
