Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to oversee kitchen operations at Hawkchurch Resort & Spa in Axminster, Devon.

This is a permanent part-time position, requiring 24 hours of work across 3 days, including evenings and some weekends.

Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee portion control, waste management, food preparation, and all kitchen procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen environment at all times.
• Ensure consistent and prompt food preparation and service.
• Assist the kitchen team with day-to-day operations.
• Manage stock rotation and ensure accurate menu information.
• Comply with all food hygiene regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment is essential.
• Catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Safety certification are required.
• A driving license is an advantage for easy travel to and from the resort.
