About the Role

We are recruiting a highly experienced Parts Supervisor to join our client's team in Farnborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the parts department, managing a team of parts advisors, and ensuring the smooth operation of stock control.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Motivate and direct a team of parts advisors to meet sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  2. Stock Control: Oversee the receipt and reconciliation of stock orders, monitor inventory levels, and implement strategies to minimize losses.
  3. Customer Service: Implement customer follow-up calls to drive sales growth and ensure timely completion of after-sales tasks.
  4. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Service Manager to resolve issues, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to enhance efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles and parts or automotive industry.
  • Qualifications in parts stock control, preferably APICS certification.
  • Computer literacy, especially in Excel, and a valid FLT licence.
