About the Role:
Vetro Recruitment is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at a Parenting Assessment Centre. As a Social Worker - Assessment Specialist, you will play a crucial part in assessing the parenting capacity of families involved with children's services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive parenting assessments using evidence-based methods.
- Work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to understand their strengths and areas for development.
- Produce high-quality reports for the courts and other stakeholders.
- Deliver interventions and support plans to enhance parenting skills.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the service.
Requirements:
- Holds a degree in social work and is qualified as a Social Worker.
- Has a minimum of 2 years' experience in children's social work, ideally including experience of conducting parenting assessments.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families from diverse backgrounds.
- Is a strong analytical thinker with excellent report writing skills.
- Has a passion for safeguarding children and a commitment to social justice.
- Is a team player with a flexible and adaptable approach.
