We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to lead our dynamic Family Assessment Centre in Shropshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to children and families through building on established principles and practice standards.
- Provide evidence in court proceedings and document the progress of families.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented appropriately.
- Work directly with children, families, foster carers, and other carers to ensure the best interests of the child are met.
- Implement individual and personalised care plans.
- Ensure all quality assurance systems are followed to provide the best possible care and support.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience working as a qualified social worker.
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Social Work.
- Valid UK Social Worker Registration.
- Full driving licence is essential.
- Ability to provide consistency of care and support to the family and children in care.
- Experience working with children, families, and external agencies.
- Flexibility to provide support for families and children, with a self-arranged work rota that may involve some evenings and weekends.
