Post CCT Clinical Fellow in Head and Neck Surgery

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Fellow to join our Head and Neck Oncology Service at Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Post CCT Fellow to gain sub-specialist training in Head and Neck Surgery and develop their skills in a busy and dynamic department.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced consultants and surgeons, and will be exposed to a wide range of head and neck surgical procedures, including major complex cancer resections and reconstruction. The fellow will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in diagnosis and treatment of UADT cancer and benign pathology, including transoral laser phonosurgery.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the management of head and neck malignancy and in advanced techniques of reconstruction and rehabilitation following surgery.
- Develop skills in diagnosis and treatment of UADT cancer and benign pathology, including transoral laser phonosurgery.
- Work closely with Neurosurgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Oncologists to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in clinical governance and audit activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Registered with the GMC with a licence to practise.
- Medical Degree or diploma from a recognised UK or overseas university or institution.
- MRCS (or equivalent).
- Distinctions, awards, prizes, scholarships, or other degrees.
