Exciting Opportunity for a Chartered Accountancy Practice

This is a fantastic chance to join a leading Chartered Accountancy Practice in the South East, working with a friendly and supportive team. As an Audit and Accounts Assistant or Semi Senior, you will be responsible for preparing company accounts, corporation tax returns, and assisting with audits. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, from small businesses to large companies, and gain valuable experience in audit planning and fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, Ltd companies, and partnerships
  • Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensure it addresses audit objectives
  • Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and strategy
  • Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
  • Ensure planned audit work is completed to satisfy audit objectives
Requirements
  • At least 2 years practice experience dealing with accounts preparation and assisting with audits
  • AAT qualified or studying ACCA/ACA
  • Well-organized and able to work autonomously
  • Experience of dealing with clients face-to-face
  • A team player and happy to offer help to others
