About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at HMP Pentonville, a category B prison located in London. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and driving recovery outcomes.

Salary: £25.20 per hour (weekdays) and £28.35 per hour (weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with patients to develop individualized packages of care through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning.
  • Deliver a range of treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions, in both group and one-to-one settings.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
  • RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake.
  • Sound clinical substance misuse knowledge.
