About the Role

The Charge Nurse within our ward team is responsible for implementing individualized and responsive care planning, risk assessment, and discharge facilitation. We are seeking an experienced nurse to take the lead in providing high-quality clinical care and supporting the development of our team members.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Facilitate discharge planning and ensure a smooth transition for patients
  • Support the development of junior staff members through mentorship and training

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least 2 years of post-basic experience, with 1 year at Senior Staff Nurse level
  • RMN qualification
  • Desirable: ENB 998 / Mentorship, Leadership / Management Training
