At Goldman Sachs Bank AG, we are seeking a talented Investment Banking Associate to join our team in London. As a key member of our Investment Banking team, you will play a critical role in executing, originating, and structuring new issue debt transactions for the Sovereign, Supranational, and Agency (SSA) sector across the globe.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Syndicate or Debt Capital Markets, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. They will be responsible for executing new issue transactions from announcement through to pricing under the supervision of senior Syndicate members. Additionally, they will develop and cultivate strong direct relationships with SSA issuers and investors to enhance market read and recommendation.

The ideal candidate will have a history of outstanding academic and professional achievement, as well as strong team orientation and the ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions. They will be responsible for preparing client materials, including pitches, relative value analysis, and market updates, as well as helping to create value-additive content for DCM to utilize with clients.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and clients to prepare for new bond issues, and assist in client coverage, keeping clients up to date with themes and opportunities in the market. You will also take ownership and manage internal desk processes to ensure the team is working as efficiently as possible.
