We are seeking a talented and ambitious Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Carrington West. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and collaborate with a talented team of civil engineers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical input to projects, including organizing and managing site-based investigations, analyzing data, and managing project tasks.
  • Collaborating with civil engineers to develop design solutions using various 2D and 3D design tools, engineering sketches, and drawings.
  • Preparing civil engineering design deliverables, including specifications, calculations, drawings, and schedules.
  • Supporting civil engineers and directors in client discussions during design team meetings, progress updates, or project reviews.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional membership or working towards professional membership with a recognized engineering institution.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and numerical skills.
  • A positive and proactive approach.
  • A good technical understanding of civil engineering principles.
  • A willingness to visit operational and construction sites as required.

We offer a competitive salary, 22 days holiday plus a minimum of 3 days gifted for Christmas break, flexible working, workplace pension, training and development, medical insurance, and annual bonuses subject to performance.
