ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER ROLE IN PONTEFRACT

Adept Resourcing is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Pontefract. This role offers a challenging and rewarding experience, working on various projects simultaneously, with the possibility of professional growth and development.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for interpreting design packs, creating 3D models, and producing 2D drawings within defined scopes and timescales. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that project tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with HNC Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, who is certified in Solidworks and AutoCAD. Previous experience in a similar industry or role is preferred, but not necessary. If you have a passion for electrical design, a flexible approach, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Interpret design packs, create 3D models, and produce 2D drawings within defined scopes and timescales.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Project Management: Plan, perform, monitor, and report on assigned tasks and deliverables.
Requirements:
  • HNC Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Certification in Solidworks and AutoCAD.
  • Prior experience in a similar industry or role (ideally).
