The dimensional checker's duties include:

  • Checking all new steel being delivered to ensure it meets the order specifications.
  • Inspecting fabrications for dimensions and size accuracy against engineers' drawings.
  • Collaborating with the QC team to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Verifying that materials meet the correct grading for orders and jobs specified.

This role requires a methodical approach to work, attention to detail, and good communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively under pressure, manage their time efficiently, and be a team player.

The working hours for this position are 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available at premium rates plus double time on Sundays.
