About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Coventry. This role involves working on a 1:2 basis, assisting teachers in classrooms and providing interventions for students with specific needs while helping to de-escalate stressful situations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and providing interventions for students with special needs.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A strong educational background and relevant experience working with children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Hold a DBS registration or be able to arrange one.

Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the PAYE system.
