SEN Teaching Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Thornton, Lancashire.
This is a full-time role working across the KS1 department to support children with identified SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Support children with special educational needs in a classroom setting
- Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
Our ideal candidate will have experience supporting learners with SEN, preferably Autism, and possess a positive attitude, kindness, and compassion. They should also have a good sense of humour.
Salary Information:The salary for this role is competitive, ranging from £12.50 per hour, depending on experience. Ongoing support from the SENDCo and SEN support team is also available.
