About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Merriman Grange, a luxurious residential and dementia care home in Worthing. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for our residents, ensuring that every meal time is a truly enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a full kitchen team, including a second chef and kitchen assistants
  • Ensure that all kitchen services are efficient and that the required Health and Safety measures are in place
  • Cater for modified and individual diets, working closely with residents and their families to understand their needs
  • Source fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create high-end, beautifully presented meals
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care and support
