We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Resolution Manager to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in assisting a Local Authority in Wirral with the appointment of a Customer Resolution & Info Manager on a 2-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension.
Key Responsibilities- Liaising with Elected Members and Senior Managers: You will be responsible for dealing with and responding to requests for information from elected members and senior managers.
- Design and Delivery of Training: You will design and deliver training on complaints policies, procedures, and information responsibilities to staff and managers across Children's Services.
- Annual Measures and Budgets: You will develop and agree annual measures and budgets for the Customer Resolution & Information Team.
- Team Budget Management: You will manage the team budget, which will include the employment of self-employed independent investigators.
- Liaising with External Organizations: You will liaise with elected members, senior managers, external organizations, and the community to shape and improve service delivery.
- Professional Qualification or Degree: You will require a professional qualification or degree.
- Complaints and Enquiries Management: You will have experience in managing and implementing effective processes for dealing with complaints and enquiries.
- Policy Development: You will have experience in developing organizational policies that reflect national legislation relating to the handling of complaints and information responsibilities.
- Investigation Reports: You will have experience in reviewing investigation reports in response to complaints to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.
- Sensitive Issues: You will have experience in dealing with sensitive issues that may pose significant risk to the organization.
- Customer-Focused Role: You will have experience in working in a customer-focused role, including with service users, families, elected members, MPs, other professionals, and organizations.
- Staff Management: You will have experience in managing staff, working collaboratively to support each other, and ensuring that they can meet timescales and deadlines required.
- Budget Management: You will have experience in managing a budget that carries within it some level of complexity or risk.
- Regulatory Bodies: You will have experience in working with partners, regulatory bodies, including the Local Government Ombudsman, Information Commissioners, and other regulators.
- Performance Reporting: You will have experience in analyzing information to identify patterns and trends and reporting to senior managers.
- Learning and Development: You will have experience in performance reporting, analysis, and developing learning from monitoring of complaints and enquiries.
- Advice and Guidance: You will have experience in providing advice and guidance to staff, including practitioners and senior managers.
- Availability: You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
- Right to Work: You should have the right to work in the U.K.
