Orthopaedic Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Nurse Specialist to join our team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an Orthopaedic Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Trauma and Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and oversee clinics, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
- Support clinicians in a variety of orthopaedic clinics, including trauma, elective, and spinal outpatient clinics.
- Work as part of a team to provide excellent patient care and support the plaster room as required.
- Anticipate the needs of clinicians and use resources effectively to ensure smooth clinic operations.
We are looking for a nurse with:
- Current NMC registration.
- Diploma/degree in nursing studies or working towards.
- Relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
- Previous NHS experience within the last 12 months (desirable).
- Previous experience within an Acute setting (desirable).
- Broad clinical knowledge base in orthopaedics (desirable).

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- IT skills.
- Accurate document presentation and attention to detail.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Motivated and enthusiastic, with a willingness to show initiative.
