Job Opportunity: Field Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at WR Engineering Recruiters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Sell high-value products and solutions to OEMs and manufacturers in the automotive, materials handling, machine building, and industrial engineering industries
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers
  • Work closely with our sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Provide solutions-based sales support to customers, including product training and technical expertise

Requirements:

  • Essential Qualification: HNC/HND or degree in a mechanical engineering subject or related field
  • Sales experience: field sales experience preferred, but we are open to highly motivated individuals looking for a break into technical field sales
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the industrial and manufacturing sectors
  • Beneficial knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, springs, linear motion, bearings, couplings, engineered metal or rubber components
  • Full UK driving license

  • Competitive salary: up to £40,000 (OTE with commission: £50,000-£55,000)
