About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Specialty Doctor to join our friendly Paediatric Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day care for a diverse and challenging mix of paediatric and neonatal patients on the Special Care Baby Unit, Postnatal Ward and general Paediatric Ward.
  • Reviewing patients attending outpatient appointments, ad hoc reviews and supporting specialist clinics.
  • Provision of support, supervision and education for the junior doctors.
  • Managing the ward and the flow of acute patients alongside the nursing team and the wider senior staff.

Requirements

  • APLS (Advanced Life Support) and NLS (Newborn Life Support) certifications are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide high-quality care to patients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
