Job Description

Collections Advisor / Recoveries Advisor - Property Finance

Up to £38,000 + Bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high levels of service to meet borrowers' needs and achieve appropriate outcomes.
  • Support the day-to-day management of various accounts, covering all aspects of account management to mitigate business risk.
  • Initiate and maintain contact with borrowers, requesting financial information and providing options to ensure an appropriate outcome.
  • Provide guidance and support to borrowers facing difficulties exiting their bridging facility, finding resolutions and dealing with sensitive situations.
  • Build relationships with solicitors, receivers, borrowers, and key stakeholders.
  • Understand market trends, products, and operating environments to support the design of learning and development solutions.
  • Review and assess developments, making accurate and informed decisions.
  • Create account strategies to support and develop assets.
  • Present a professional image of the company, delivering a positive customer experience throughout the customer journey.
  • Manage portfolios effectively to provide a value service and maintain relationships.
  • Complete security assessment reviews and refer key cases to mitigate risk and minimize potential financial losses.
  • Explore alternative options with customers to ensure timely account exits.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in managing Secured Collections.
  • Ability to make common sense lending decisions on the whole product range.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong relationship skills.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Methodical with attention to detail.
  • Good pipeline management skills.
  • Collections and debt recovery experience.
  • Strong intellect and professional approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
