Job Title: Graduate Leadership Team Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our team as a Graduate Leadership Team Coordinator. This exciting opportunity is part of our Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) in Canterbury, Kent.

About the Role

As a Graduate Leadership Team Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing referrals within the mood and anxiety pathway. You will undertake mental health assessments, measure clinical outcomes, and deliver evidence-based clinical interventions in line with the CY-IAPT programme.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage referrals within the mood and anxiety pathway
  • Undertake mental health assessments and measure clinical outcomes
  • Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions in line with the CY-IAPT programme
  • Promote the mental and emotional health of children, young people, and families in the community
  • Undertake initial school-based and community-based assessments and deliver early interventions to children and young people with emotional and psychological difficulties
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Core professional registration
  • Post-graduate development and training in CYPMHS
  • 3+ years of experience in working with CYPMHS
  • Therapeutic work undertaken with complex cases
  • Experience of working with difficult, disturbed, or challenging children/young people requiring skilled and complex interventions
  • Experience of working therapeutically with parents/carers/families of children and young people with complex mental health problems
