Job Title: PLC Implementation Expert

Location: Andover, UK

Estimated Salary Range: £50,000 - £54,000 per annum

About the Role:

The position of PLC Implementation Expert has been created within our automated site in Andover. The successful candidate will be involved in current and future projects to improve efficiency by using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs to modification and programming level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the automation team to diagnose and repair faults
  • Program and modify programs to ensure continuous production
  • Analyse data and provide options for solutions and improvements to performance

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of PLCs - Allen Bradley or Siemens
  • Able to provide technical support with regards to purchase, installation, and qualification of automated assembly and process lines
  • Approved apprenticeship or equivalent (Electrical)
  • Hands-on experience with projects
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis
  • Hands-on FMCG factory experience with automated machinery
