Business Analyst – Pension Software Solutions

Location: Hybrid working

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 + bonus + benefits

No agencies

Procentia - Pensions Software Solutions is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Client Success department. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in unlocking the potential of our market-leading pension software.

Our flagship product, IntelliPen, is a state-of-the-art, Internet browser-based pensions and benefits administration system. It encompasses workflow, document management, payroll, accounting, reporting, and all the functionality a modern pensions department demands.

As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Working with clients and the business to document requirements and identify solutions.
  2. Using clear language to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  3. Helping clients identify business improvements, assess feasibility, and communicate benefits.
  4. Supporting the business and clients in recognizing risks and dependencies that could impact delivery.
  5. Translating business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
  6. Producing documentation such as specifications, dependency mappings, and process flows.
  7. Using data modeling practices to analyze findings and create suggestions for improvements.
  8. Identifying the processes and information technology required to introduce recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working as a Business Analyst in a pensions, financial services, or IT environment.
  • Great communication skills with all stakeholders.
  • Sound technical knowledge.
  • Experience of requirements gathering to support the configuration and development of software, ideally in pensions or financial services.
  • High degree of numeracy.
  • Excellent team worker with good time management and planning abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Attention to detail on data analysis and documentation.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to define success metrics.
  • Effective multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Inquisitive nature.
