Business Analyst Job Description

Artis Recruitment is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our client's Business Change Team in Central Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with excellent Excel, Vision, and general Microsoft Office skills.

The successful Business Analyst will work on a hybrid basis, with 1-2 days a week onsite, and will be responsible for investigating business systems and processes, identifying options for improvement, and producing robust business cases. They will also support the production of project plans, resource requirements, and delivery of products to enable the realisation of business benefits.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Investigate business systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Produce business cases and support the production of project plans and resource requirements.
  • Use business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle to achieve required outcomes.
  • Identify and deliver successful business analysis products within different business change frameworks and environments.
  • Communicate and collaborate with external and internal clients to analyse information and functional and non-functional requirements.
Required Background/Experience:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent Excel, Vision, and general Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to adapt to different working styles.
  • Good technical understanding.
  • Self-starter with good time management skills.
