Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cook to contribute to the success of our culinary team at Hawkchurch Resort & Spa in Axminster, Devon.

This is a permanent part-time position, requiring 24 hours of work across 3 days, including evenings and some weekends. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing portion control, waste management, and food preparation procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
  • Ensuring consistent and prompt food service.
  • Assisting the team with day-to-day kitchen operations.
  • Managing stock rotation and inventory.
  • Verifying menu accuracy and pricing.
  • Complying with food hygiene regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment is essential. Catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Safety certification are required. A driving license is an advantage for easy travel to and from the resort.
