About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Locum Consultant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Obstetrics and Gynaecology services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Locum Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing emergency cover and on-call services at both Tunbridge Wells Hospital and Maidstone Hospital
  • Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynaecology service
  • Participating in the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to the education and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full GMC registration and a Licence to Practice
  • CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or equivalent
  • Labour ward ATSM and experience in clinical audit/quality improvement
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
