Facilities Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team at VRS-UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory site in Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to facility helpdesk tickets and ensure that services are maintained to a high standard for facility users.
  • Perform repair and maintenance on a variety of building assets and lab equipment, including HVAC filter changes and purified water systems.
  • Organise and supervise service contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Liaise closely with other teams, including Health & Safety, Admin, and laboratory staff, to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Requirements:

  • Experience in facility management, preferably in a laboratory environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across the business.
  • Working understanding of electrics, plumbing, heating, HVAC, and air con systems.
