Administrative Finance Coordinator

A leading manufacturer in Worcester is seeking a skilled Finance Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Job DescriptionThis is an office-based position involving a wide range of responsibilities, including receiving and reviewing invoices, coding and posting them to ledgers, reconciling accounts payable transactions, and maintaining supplier account records.
Main Responsibilities- Validate invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Coding and posting invoices to ledgers efficiently.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions, addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate supplier account records and update them regularly.
- Manage accounts receivable by issuing invoices and following up on overdue payments effectively.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies or issues professionally.
- Keep customer account information current and accurate at all times.
- Handle employee expense claims, adhering to company policies strictly.
- Support payroll processing as needed, maintaining confidentiality and efficiency.
- Supply documentation and information for internal and external audits as required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages and Sage 50 is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
- A salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 based on skills and experience.
- A total of 33 days annual leave including bank holidays.
- Free onsite parking.
