Academic Position: Lecturer in Health and Social Care

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our team at Regent College London. As an integral member of our academic staff, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our students, driving excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and tutorials to students, utilizing a range of pedagogical approaches and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programmes and modules, ensuring they align with industry trends and standards.
  • Lead and participate in scholarly activities, publishing research papers, book chapters, and other outputs that advance knowledge in the field.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote student success, employability, and lifelong learning, through effective assessment and feedback strategies.

Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in a relevant subject discipline, with a strong background in health and social care.
  • Fellowship of the Advanced Higher Education (HEA) or willingness to work towards it within 12 months.
  • Significant experience in teaching, research, and scholarship, with a proven track record of publications and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students and colleagues.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, prioritizing student needs and outcomes.
