Employment Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at Maximus. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of customers, providing coaching and guidance to help them prepare for interviews and job searching.
- Undertake in-depth assessments to understand customers' circumstances, preferences, and barriers to progression.
- Co-produce personalized action plans with sequenced interventions and development opportunities.
- Work with local specialist services to address specific issues, such as substance misuse, anger management, debt advice, and health and vocational training.
- Identify recruitment needs of employers and undertake tailored pre-screens and group assessments.
- Co-produce effective in-work support plans with participants and employers.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure excellent customer service.
- Comply with company policies, including personal data security, safeguarding, and health and safety.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
- Fully IT literate in using Microsoft Office programmes and modern digital technologies.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan and organize workload to meet targets and deadlines.
