Electronics Test Engineer Role

The Electronics Test Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and specifications. This position involves conducting detailed testing and inspections, analyzing outcomes, and implementing corrective measures to maintain compliance and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and follow test procedures to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct high-level testing on complex, high-value PCBs after manufacturing completion.
  • Perform fault-finding at the component level and competently use laboratory test equipment.
  • Coordinate with the in-house manufacturing team regarding repairs to production PCBs.
  • Perform pre-acceptance testing on finished products and systems before calibration to verify adherence to quality, performance, and safety standards.
  • Accurately document all test results and inspection findings.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance product testing tools and processes.
  • Work in accordance with ISO quality and environmental standards.
  • Utilize surface mount re-work tools in a small-scale production or development setting.
Requirements:
  • Strong logical approach to faultfinding.
  • Solid understanding of both analog and digital electronics.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with FPGA programming tools is advantageous.
  • Experience with PCB schematic and layout tools is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and driven.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
